Myself and two other library media specialist outlined, illustrated and provided vocals to an motion film using props and set pieces. We then uploaded our film to the MovieMaker program to create film including sound. You can hear me say "Get Set". We used stand alone microphones that connect by USB. Students were able to do this same project in our schools following this example.

This book trailer is made after reading the book. Searching for appropriate images to reflect an interest in advertising what the book is about. Once those images are found they are cropped to fit the exact purpose for the audience without revealing too much of the story. Music is inserting, however timing is important and then text.

Originally completed on google docs, this is a template that my students complete. They first read a book of their choice. Then this assignment works on both technology skills and on identifying the story elements. Students will work by copying and pasting the book cover on their word google document. Then identify the title, author, summary, recommendation and ISBN number by using the OPAC; all will be done following the technology skills in the directions. As the library media specialist I have the students share these with me on google docs then I print acceptable reviews to hang in the media center.

Having never done it I wrote a script and explored the site first. The mouse was my guide and is a nice visual tool during the live version of the screen cast.
