Mar 28, 2017

Boy finds huge 7.44 carat diamond in Arkansas state park

Located in southwest Arkansas, Arkansas State Park called Crater of Diamonds allows people to search for diamonds. In 30 minutes, 14 yr old Kalel Langford found a huge 7.44 carat brown diamond. It was the 7th largest diamond to be found there and the largest brown diamond in 40 years. Over 75,000 diamonds have been unearthed in the park since the first diamonds were discovered there in 1906. Entrance fee is $10. The park has a "finders keepers" policy, pretty generous, considering the many large diamonds that have been found there.

Like getting used to a smog-filled city and then being hit with the pungent smell of someone who hadn't showered for several days.

Pigs rolling in an ocean of mud aren't this fat and happy. Money, money, money. This is the NFL's motto. The Raiders' move to Las Vegas proves this. Yes, it is one of many things that illustrate this point, but this is the exclamation point. Just sin, baby.

There is nothing more mercenary, and merciless, than a sports league bolting three cities in the span of 14 months—St. Louis, San Diego and now Oakland. The NFL is allowed to make money. All of us should be. But the league needs to stop pretending it's about anything more than that. There's no question now that this is the NFL's sole purpose: making cash.
