It goes through describing temperature and all of its features, such as: melting and freezing, measuring the temperature, and weather. I personally like how the book includes fun facts throughout the pages. 
This would be a good book to reinforce a lesson on the idea of temperature because it is simple and easy to understand.

This book is written in 2nd person, which I like, and it describes different animals living in the prehistoric age, as well as comparing it to more modern day animals. 
This would be a good book to get kids interested in when they are starting to delve more into science and history.

The words are printed big and bold, and there are really only about 3 words per page. I love this book because it describes the diversity and patriotic spirit of America, and I think kids will really enjoy it because they can see that even though they're not the same, but they're not all that different either.  This would be a good book to teach on for diversity in the classroom.

This book describes the development of a tadpole into a frog, along with all of a frog's characteristics. I personally love that they open the book with a "word hunt", which instructs the reader to pay attention to words that are printed in bold. This would be a good book to use in order for students to pay attention to specific vocabulary in works.

There is a lot more information present on these pages. This book is written to inform the students about the characteristics of butterflies. This includes its size, its beginnings, and the ecosystem in which these creatures live in. I would probably use this book as a reinforcer for students in introducing biology points.

This book contrasts and compares the biological characteristics of a Killer Whale and Great White Shark, and pits them against each other in an epic showdown.  This would be a good book to show compare and contrast.

This book takes a look into the real and complex emotions that may be exhibited by children who's parents have been incarcerated. Though it is sensitive material, I believe this could definitely be used and given to students as a need for encouragement for those going through situation similar to this.
