Went to the Scapes Hotel office to report with Aisyah and Najmin, where Aisyah and Najmin were interns with me. Then, we were given the Scapes Hotel uniform which is a T-shirt with the Scapes emblem. After changing uniforms, we followed Ms. Sha (Assistant Manager Housekeeping) for a tour of the Scapes Hotel area. At the same time, introduce myself to all the staff at Hotel Scapes.

9:15 am 
We made an access card to work at the Scapes Hotel with Mr. Casey. Once the access card was complete, we followed Prem, Captain f&b to the Lemon 3. We met with Mr. Karim, who is the Assistant Banquet Manager. He explains the scope and rules of working here. Then, I learned about table preparation, which is:
- Position of tissues, spoons, forks and knives
- Position of salt and pepper
Mr. Karim also taught us how to brew coffee using a barista machine.

I went to lunch at Cafeteria and zhur prayer.

We went to the ballroom with Akmal, the f&b supervisor to set up the hall because on the 23rd and 24th there will be a Bank Rakyat Ceremony. So, we arranged tables and chairs and learned to make songkok shaped napkins to put on the table.

I went to p1 to access the card to enter work. Then I went to Lemon 3 on the G floor. We were ready to greet guests for breakfast. Breakfast here is from 7:00 am to 10:30 am. Here, we must always be ready to help customers. If their table has an empty plate, we have to go and ask if the plate needs to be lifted because it provides comfort on the table and is not too crowded with a lot of plates. So, customers can eat in peace.

Start packing breakfast food. Collect all the clamps and container, containers to be sent to the kitchen for washing. Once ready to be washed by the kitchen, then our turn will wipe all the tools. This time, Mr. Karim taught us how to wipe spoons, forks and knives using napkins the right way.

I went to lunch at Cafeteria and zhur prayer.

I was assigned to deliver water to the customer. Then, Mr. Karim reprimanded me lifting the tray was wrong. So Mr. Karim taught me how to lift the tray in a proper and safe way. At this moment, customers are not too many so we are not too busy.

I went to p1 to access the card to enter work. Then I went to Meranti Room 1 & Meranti Room 2 on the M floor. In the Meranti Room 1 and Meranti Room 2 there was the Bank Rakyat Ceremony in 80 guests. So I was assigned to prepare utensils such as spoons, ladles and forks for the buffet food. Then, as usual, if there is an empty plate on the table or a plate that do not want to use anymore, I will collect with my partner, Hidayah (staff f&b). We collectively from table to table.

5:15 pm
After the ceremony, we started packing. Collect all spoons, forks and ladles. Then, we sent all the tools to the kitchen for washing.

6:00 pm 
Me and Hidayah went hi tea at the Cafeteria. Then, go to a asr prayer.

We wiped the spoons, forks and knives that had been washed earlier.

I went to maghrib prayer.

Then, we even set up the table again for the Ceremony tomorrow. The Bank Rakyat Ceremony was held for two days. So, we rearranged the table with one table of 8 people. We arranged napkins, spoons, forks and even knives for all the tables in the hall and also the boardroom.

I went down to Lemon 3. We were a bit free due to lack of customers at night. Before going home, we cleaned the barista’s machine and Mr Zul calculated the daily profit.

We arranged a long table with a set of tables with two to three chairs. Available in 10 long tables with 24 seats in Meranti Room 1 and 10 tables with 20 seats in Meranti Room 2. Then, on the table, we also put a bottle of water, candy, cups, paper and even a pencil because they will have a meeting together there. Then, for the boardroom setup only use 8 seats because this breakfast is attended by VVIP people. Then, on the table, we placed water bottles, cups, spoons, knives and forks.
