All of the most well known vogue font covers have one thing in common and that is that the team made sure that the colour of the vogue font matches what the model is wearing in the front cover image, along with this the photographs make sure to use accessories in these shoots that compliment the models but not only that they make sure the accessories match the models outside and the shoots theme.

The lighting in these vogue photoshoots can vary but the one thing that stays consistent in them is that no matter what the photographer always makes sure that the models face is very well lit no matter the locations and almost makes them look like their glowing in every photo no matter who the model is. The poses in this magazine can be many different options but vogue tends to stick to the typical and modern studio poses, i think this is very effective because it fits their well kept and clean image that they've been achieving over the years.

The cover theme I choose was of Florence Pugh and it was for style 2023, the cover theme seems to be centred around the kitchen and it tells you this because it shows a cut open dragon fruit and along with this it shows the steal and metal tables and backgrounds that she is leaning against.

Colin Dodgson was the photographer for the Florence Pugh style 2023 issue, Gabriella Karefa Johnston was not only the art director but she was also the stylist for this issue. Hair and makeup was done by Akki Shirakawa and Fara Homidi.

Most of Colin's work that i found when doing other research was for other magazines like i-D magazine and Gentlewoman but what i did also find were some environmental and scenic photos of the world around him but also he has taken some very cool photos of vehicles.

The photographers thought out this shoot very well because they made sure to match the style of the clothes that the model is wearing to the car, the almost dakrness or edginess of the car helps with this vibe along with the lip ring helps make this more clear.

The lighting is very glossy and making sure that the models face is glowing but not only that the whole car is very well lit considering that outside the car is seemingly pitch black. I enjoy the posing because it matches the theme of the shoot but also goes along with the edgy badass vibe that i feel like the photographer was aiming for, The photographer made sure to match the colour of the small parts of the seats of the car to the colour of the font on the image if that was intentional or not i'm not sure but i think this is a very effective way of adding a pop of colour into the image.

The theme of this shoot involves the model inside a car with rain on the windows, he is looking off into the distance, the theme of this shoot is clearly about the model in the car as he is sat at the wheel and driving but not only that adding in the leather jacket, the shirt off and the nose ring the photographer is trying to create a cooler vibe than just a boring image of a celebrity in a car.

This photoshoot was organised by Dazed magazine at their studio in north London and the photographer was Campbell Addy. The art director was Jamie Reid, the stylist for this shoot was actually the model Jung Kook as he has stated that he wanted to embrace his "bad boy" image that his fans loved so much. The makeup artist for this issue was Isamaya Ffrench.

Campbell Addy is a photographer but he is also a film maker known for his highly viewed clients known as Calvin Klein and Naomi Campbell. He also Collaborated with many fashion brands and publications that include, Off-White, Mac, Vogue, Time and Rolling Stones.

1. I did not see any flyer/posters to advertise this event which is the one thing I would say they could improve on, if there were any, I didn’t see them.

2. I think the layout and gallery space for this exhibition was very well laid out because I didn’t feel too overwhelmed by it and it made me feel as though I could walk around all the photos without getting distracted by one of them over the other. The layout of the exhibition also was very well throughout because the photos were all split up nice and neatly into ones that fit each other instead of shoving random photos together that don’t have a story behind them.

3. All the photos were mounted onto the wall by hooks which I think is the best option for this exhibition because it was all frames and no other kinds of photos like on paper, etc. For this kind of exhibition, I think that this is appropriate for work because it the way they have been mounted tells a story with the layout that they’ve chosen to mount the photos with.

4. The work was made by Alister McCallum and Jane Carroll and this exhibition is about the vital record of Glaswegians and Glasgow; the importance of this exhibition is because they are showing Glasgow at the time that these images were taken. This exhibition highlights one of Glasgow’s most important community-led groups and this is the biggest photographic project to be done in Glasgow. These images have been exhibited in over 26 countries worldwide; these images were last exhibited in Glasgow in 1991.

5. This exhibition was made for the people of Glasgow to show different places and people throughout the years. The audience is for people who are interested in history of the city and for fellow photographers who either like taking environment images or photographers who are from Glasgow and are interested in photographing the history behind their city.

This exhibition strangely enough looking at all the photos made me feel closer to my city because it shows the people before me and even if I didn’t know who they are or what their story was it helped me see Glasgow through different eyes and showed me what it was like years ago.

7.
