         <description><![CDATA[<p>Jean Piagets Therory known as 'Piagtets Cognitive Theory' was developed through studies with his own children he identified four stages of cognitive development. Pre-operational, senori-motor, concrete operational and formal operational. Jean Piaget (1896-1980)was a Swiss Psychologist. His theory was important because it brought intense focus on cognition which helped us understand the way children think.</p>]]></description>

Bowlby identified the early bonding that occurs in babies is similar to imprinting in chicks. John Bowlby (1907-1990)was a British psychologist and psychiatrist. His work was important because this theory brought attention to the importance between parents and their children and also the identification of the four attachment types.<br></p>]]></description>

His theory was important because it brought realization and analyzation that children's play is also how they learn and grow developmentally.</p>]]></description>
