The hottest temperature ever recorded was 134°F at Furnace Creem on July 10, 1913. Which is the world record.<br><br>2) Death Valley is also known geographically due to its outstanding -282 feet.<br><br>3) The Timbisha tribe has inhabited Death Valley for more tham 1,000 years. According to the 2010 Census the Timbasha tribe has a population of 24.</div>]]></description>

The Hoover dam was needed to keep water from water sources in tact.<br><br>2) The Dam has enough gallons of water to irrigate 2 million acres of land.<br><br>3) The dam includes 17 turbines that produce electricity to over 1.3 million homes.
