ChatGPT vs. the climate: The hidden environmental costs of AI

• Define what AI is, including a basic understanding of large language models and how they are trained.

• Distinguish situations where AI may or may not be useful.

• Explain the difference between types of AI tools and how they can be applied.

This workshop-style talk will explore the limits and possibilities of AI in delivering both written and verbal feedback. AI systems can analyze a learner's performance, detect patterns in their strengths and weaknesses, and provide real-time suggestions for improvement, enhancing the learning process. 

Additionally, AI can help standardize feedback, reducing human bias and ensuring consistency across different learners. By delving into these possibilities, the talk will examine how AI can reshape feedback methods in medical education, ultimately fostering more effective learning and continuous professional development.
