i came up with the idea to base my visual essay based on the chinese funerals that are frequently held near my house because i have always found them fascinating in terms of the supernatural aspect. they genuinely believe that their offerings will be transferred unto the deceased by burning them, which makes me wonder if they do actually receive the offerings in the afterlife. i usually dismiss these thoughts as i am not one to believe in superstition, but i ocassionally like to entertain them. as such, i want to express my imagination pertaining the chinese or taoist ceremonies in this visual essay

i decided to change my story to a documentation of my late hampsters life. i realised thar i have no leads in terms of the research aspect, and i do not have the luxury of time anymore. as such, i will be doing something more close to my heart due to the fact that i have a bigger pool of photos to draw upon.
