Digital Libraries is a course that I am eager to do. With the evolution of technology, there is a phrase floating around that says "libraries would no longer be relevant". However; Libraries are showing that they can use technologies and adapt to change especially during this pandemic.

I am semi-familiarized with the digitizing of contents as my employer has been engaged in trying to have all files added to SharePoint. 

I enjoy being a mother and sometimes wish I can do so full-time but that’s just a wish. I also love binge watching on Netflix strictly in my free time, i.e. not while the semester is active.

I am currently in my fourth year of my degree and I'm very excited to be on this journey.
I am an avid reader and kdrama fan. As well I am very interested in languages and I am on my way to becoming a polyglot. I am also really obsessed with traveling and due to the global pandemic, that had to take a backseat.

I am Dana...a language-loving, pro lifelong-learning, voracious reading and audio book listening, herbal tea-drinking, pluviophile,  stationery-lover and  travel enthusiast. 

I have visited Margarita & Barbados (3 times). I was all set for visiting Mediterranean countries this year before COVID appeared and dashed those plans. 

Nevertheless, I'm alive and safe and I know that it's not the end of my wanderlust.

I've been told that I am daring and that I inspire...but you'll be the judge of that. I sing. I dance. I write. I am passionate about words. I am also an ambivert.

Out of all my courses thus far, Digital Libraries seems the most appealing. I think because it engages my creative side...so I look forward to the rest of the semester. Deuces!
