         <description><![CDATA[<p>I came across this video clip on YouTube a couple years ago. When learning Module 2, it reminded me of this video clip because it talks about how it feels to be Asian American, and the sense of belonging or fitting in. In elementary and middle school, majority of the population of my schools were White or Hispanic. Hearing the video talk about being Filipino-American and being shy/embarrassed to eat my lunch at school was something I completely related to. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>when I watched this movie, I remember so many articles about this movie being the subliminal post about “white American models” being attracted to African American men. People compared it to NBA or NFL athletes and I remember paparazzi going crazy over it because it would show how certain men would do anything to be with a certain type of woman.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>In this movie scene, Jackie Chan mentioned the “N” word. I watched this movie multiple times growing up with my dad and uncles. I don’t think they ever thought anything of it being “racist”, especially in the scene, Jackie Chan is obviously not completely literate in English. In the scene I interpreted that he was only</p><p>Trying to “fit in” and be “cool” in front of the bartender but in his eyes (the character’s POV he was only trying to fit in)</p>]]></description>
