Also, the usrah assistant told us about “adab dalam menuntut ilmu” and “adab membaca al-Quran”. Here’s some knowledge that I earned:

Adab dalam Menuntut Ilmu:

1. Recite du’a before start studying

2. Watch your words while speaking

3. Respect teachers or lecturers

4. Good intentions (niat)

5. humble yourself (tawaddu’)

Adab Membaca al-Quran:

1. Respect al-Quran

2. Pronounce every letter correctly

3. Begin with bismillah

4. Don’t disturb others reciting al-Quran

5. Sit in a respectful manner

How it can strengthen Muslim’s bonds?

In summary about week 2 usrah’s topic is prayers strengthen Muslim bonds by bringing the community together in worship, promoting unity, equality, and mutual support. Through congregational prayers, Muslims share a sense of belonging, care for one another, and strengthen their faith and brotherhood in Islam.

For week 3 usrah I learned about belief in Malaikah which is one of the pillars of Iman in Islam. Muslims believe that angels are created by Allah from light to carry out His commands. They have no free will and always obey Allah. Each angel has specific duties

There are actually four components of Qada’ and Qadar but I just going to elaborate about two component which are knowledge and writing.

1. Knowledge:
   Allah’s knowledge is complete and eternal. He knows everything that has happened, is happening, and will happen, nothing is hidden from Him.

2. Writing:
   Everything that will occur in the universe has been written by Allah in Al-Luh Al-Mahfuz. This includes all events, actions, and outcomes.

For usrah week 6, adab toward parents means showing respect, love, and obedience to them as a duty in Islam. Muslims are taught to speak kindly, care for them in old age, and never show anger or disrespect. Gratitude to parents is second only to gratitude to Allah. The Qur’an commands believers to say gentle words and make du’a for their parents, asking Allah to have mercy on them as they cared for us in childhood.

- Salah (Prayer)

Salah is one of the Ibadah in Islam and being include as one of the Five Pillars of Islam and an obligatory upon all Muslims, to connect to Allah SWT. By doing this obligation, we can strengthen relationship with Allah SWT as well purified our heart and mind from prohibited and unpleasant action.

My reflection for this usrah is the department can introduce a new branches of topic that the students may not be familiar with instead of topic that is being exposed to them by other parties, this recommendation is to widen and deepen students knowledge about Islam and make them more intrigued to learned and participate in this usrah
