The movement is mainly in major tonality. However, it showcases hints of minor tonality throughout the piece. The artwork is represented through the music because this painting in particular has a lot of bright colors and the piece is made up of bright sounds. The bright sounds are conveyed in the piece through major tonality. Since the wave picture has a boat in it, i wanted to write my piece as if i was sitting in the boat watching the wave coming torwards me. The minor chord progressions add the sence of fear.
