I hope you understand that this is really hard for me to say. Remember when I told u that God spoke to me one night while I was praying? I never told you exactly what He said, but He was telling me I shouldn't be friends with you anymore. At first, I didn't want to accept it because our friendship means so much to me, so I tried to ignore it. Then the next Sunday at church, the apostle of my church offered to pray for anyone who needed it. I joined the line, and after she prayed over me, she shared something almost the same as what I heard during my prayer. I hadn't told anyone about what happened, so hearing her say that was really surprising and made me think even more about it. I've been struggling with this decision for a while because I truly value our friendship and didn't want to let go. But I'm afraid that if I don't listen to what I believe God is telling me, I won't be able to grow closer to Him or do what He has planned for me. I've realized that I can't keep putting this off, telling myself I'll deal with it later, because I don't want to stay stuck or ignore what I feel is right. What I'm trying to say is that I care about you a lot, and you've been one of my closest friends. This isn't easy for me, and I wish things were different. I really hope you understand that this is a decision I feel I have to make for my faith and my relationship with God. I wish you nothing but the best in everything you do, and I know you'll accomplish great things in your life. Thank you for being such a wonderful friend to me over the years. I hope you can respect my decision, even though it's so hard. I'll miss you and wish you all the best in the future. goodbye.
