When we got there we went canoeing, hiking, river rafting, and of course souvenir shopping. We even got to go to the Four Corners which is where Colorado, Arizona, Utah, and New Mexico’s borders touch. We also got the chance to go to the Mesa Verde National Park!

There were teams from Kentucky, Michigan, Indiana, Iowa, and many other places in the Midwest! Although we didn’t win, we still had a lot of fun and had some team bonding experiences! We even got a few noise complaints from other guests at the hotel!

But is wasn’t only my family that came but so did my whole softball team since we were going to Nationals! We didn’t play in Michigan but on our day off from playing ball, we all went to the beach in Michigan since our hotel was right on the border of Indiana and Michigan! Some of us got to use the canoes that were offered by the beach services, but most of us got a good sunburn and had some fun swimming!

We stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge with many different water parks, arcades, and mini golf courses. All of which we did. In Pella, we went to Jaarsma Bakery with sweet treats such as Dutch Letters, pies, cakes, and any other sweet thing you could imagine. In that bakery they sell little blue and white Knick knacks, and every time we go there everyone gets at least one!
