When dealing with struggling writers who cannot create a Thesis, I "hire" other topics for the student to verbally take up a position on. I ask them to write down there reasons why they believe in that position. It is about something they are interested in and excited about but they are practicing creating evidence for arguments without realizing that is a thesis statement.

Each day I try to bring passion to the students and the classroom. I show that I do care about each student that steps inside my classroom.

Students need a leader in the classroom. Someone they can trust and facilitate learning so that they can be motivated to learn something new each day,

Student success should be a focus. I try to not make it based on results but on the process. I use phrases like "Good effort today" or "You worked hard today, keep it up and you will see the benefits"
