In English, I have improved a lot from my grades in Year 7, by receiving M's for my Formative (half-term) and Summative (term) assesments. This term, we studied Greek Myths and made different presentations on various stories such as Odysseus and Perseus, 2 great heroes. I think I could improve by adding a more sinister plot and using better vocabulary.

Mathematics

In Math, I'm working towards a higher standard and am trying to acheive good marks and a greater understanding of the subject. I've definately improved and am now maing lesser mistakes, lossing up to 7-8 marks every assesment instead of more than 10. I received a 4+ for Math this year and improved on my scores for the assesment this year. I always write equations in order to show how have I solved a question. However, I think I should cross- check my answers before writing them down to avoid silly mistakes and missing many marks. I find Maths fun, and enjoy solving questions that challenge my knowledge on this subject.

Science

In Science, I feel I must continue to practise more to achieve a good level. I am confident with Science as it is one of the subjects I am good at. My current grade in Science is S+ and I know if I work harder and add more key words in my work, I can easily achieve a M. Science is one of my strong subjects and a subject that I understand easily. It just requires a little bit of practise so that I can perform even better in it.

Geography

Geography is no doubt one of my strong subjects, as I have a great understanding of different countries, continents, biomes and many other key topics in this subject. I enjoy Geography a lot as it help me learn more about the different kinds of habitats and region in the world that we live in. My current grade in Geography is a M, and I wish to improve more so that I have a clearer understanding of many other topics.

History

For History, We covered the topic of Asian Empires, European Empires, and their key influence. We zoomed in on topics such as the Mughal Empire, Ottoman Empire, and The British Raj on India. I found these topics easy to understand and made various different presentations on them. My current grade in History is a S+, and I am hoping to improve it by adding clearer explanations to PEEL paragraphs which I've written in class.

Entrepreneurship

Entrepreneurship was one of my favourite subjects this year. I got to explore my understanding in Business & Finance and how they impact the market. I made various presentations every lesson and learned about different stategies used by entrepreneurs. I worked on 2 big projects this term, which were both a sucess! I even created a website and advertisement for both of them and I hope to improve better by adding more information on my product!

Academic Engagement

Academic Engagement this term was all about the Middle School Awards, which is for your accomplishments in school, and out of school. I had various different accomplishments, including being able to dive, skiing, and trekking this year!

Computer Science

Computer Science is a great subject which helps us improve our coding skills and It develops critical thinking and creativity to solve real-world problems. It is crucial to learn about technology and the different ways it can impact us, good or bad. It helps us learn about AI, Machine Learning and Exponential Technology as well. I received an S in Computer Science, And I hope to improve my score by adding more detail to my answers.

Dissection Club

For the EEE's, I am currently participating in 2 clubs, one of them being the KS3 Dissection Club. This club gives us an opportunity to explore the organs and body parts of animals. I enjoy this club a lot, as it helps me improve my general knowledge on anatomy.

Acheivements

In this program, We share accomplishments achieved by us during school or outside school. These accomplishment could be achieving class charts, winning awards, or simply doing good things for ourselves, like how I went snorkeling in Thailand last summer, which I was soon interested in! So when the opportunity came, I started learning Scuba Diving and am 1 Open Water Dive close to receiving a proper PADI certification, stating I can dive anywhere in the world!

I also went trekking this October and finished by 7.00 am in the morning :)

Classcharts

So far, I have accomplished 44 Class Charts and hope, that I can do better and achieve more points and purchase items from the CC store!

Fortunately, I have 0 negatives unlike last year when I had 2. I hope I can keep it this way without any negatives, as it may effect my record.

Attendance

For my Attendance, I am at 97% to 98% due to missing 2 days of school as I was sick. In term 2, I hope I have a 100% attendence and to not miss any crucial parts of school either.

Skills and Experience

I can do many things such as playing basketball and many more! Skills and experience are important for us because then we can know how everything feels like, as things have different experiences. I enjoy having skills and experience, because I can also develop myself and know what things I enjoy! These skills can also come use to me in the near future, such as being able to know swimming can help you save your and another's life when in a critical condition in water.

Skiing

One of my most favourite activities and an important skill is skiing! I learnt Skiing in Ski Dubai, during a course by our school. It was a great experience and now I know how to ski. I tested out my skills this Feburary, when I went skiing in the beautiful and mesmerising mountains of Georgia!

Basketball

One of the sports I know how to play is Basketball, and I enjoy it a lot! I have been learning basketball since the past 3-4 years. I enjoy playing the sport as it helps me in fitness and I enjoy playing the competitive matches which also enhances my speed and skills in the sport.

Reading

I enjoy reading mystery books, which involve drama and a twist plotted in the story. Currently, I am reading

Trials of Apollo, the 3rd series in the bestselling Percy Jackson series written by Rick Riordan. I started with the Percy Jackson series in May, Then started the second series, Heroes of Olympus, and am on the 3rd series, The Trials of Apollo. I am on book 1 known as the Hidden Oracle.

My reading age is 17+ as I enjoy reading murder mystery as well. The entire Percy Jackson collection is based on Greek Mythology, and the fact that greek gods exist and how a young 12 year old gets claimed as a modern-day son of Poseidon, and his adventures to prevent evil from rising. The telvision series came out last year December on Disney+ and is currently in making for Season 2.

Scuba Diving

This term, I was given the opportunity to be able to learn scuba diving in our own school's swimming pool! I learned the basics of diving, assembling equipment, buoyancy control and many other important skills. On the 24th of November, we were taken on an open water diving trip in Fujairah, one of the cities in the UAE. This Sunday, I have another Open Water Dive. After the completion of this dive, I will be given a PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) license, meaning I can dive anywhere in the world within a specific depth. It was a great experience and I can't wait to get my license soon!

Student Council

Arabic

Arabic is one of the many languages I've been learning at school. This term, We learned about various different jobs and their roles. Arabic is a hard language, but is easy when you learn the different letters and how to write and say them. I received an ATL 2 in Arabic, and am looking forward to improve it next term.

Languages: French and Spanish

Languages is one of my best subjects in school. I was given the oppotunity to take Dual languages (2 languages) which were French and Spanish. This term I learned infinitives, vacations (Spanish), and movies and books (french). I have been doing French since I was young, and recently began Spanish in Year 6. Even though they are similar, I am able to recognize the difference in them. I received an S+ in French (9/10) and a M in Spanish (10/10). I can improve my correcting my spelling and adding the proper ending to each word by their gender!

Scuba Diving

I enjoy doing Scuba Diving because I love exploring the ocean. I love the underwater life, which led me to starting to learn Scuba Diving and am 1 Open Water Dive close to receiving a proper PADI certification, stating I can dive anywhere in the world!

RWS & MSC

RWS and MSC this term were about our real world skills and our understanding on our morals, socials, and diverse cultures.

RWS focused on skills and qualities. We did a quiz before every lesson in RWS which quizzed us on our general knowledge of the world!

MSC looked at the Big Green Legacy, Moral Dilemma, and various cultures and innovations around the world which have impacted the way of living today.
