When President Franklin Roosevelt took office in 1933, he acted swiftly to try and stabilize the economy and provide jobs and relief to those who were suffering by creating The New Deal.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>It helped a little bit, it definitely stopped the bleeding so to say of the great depression, SSA and NLR probably helped the most because back the once you retired the was no more money coming in, and also there needed to be rules set to protect workers from harsh environments and low wages which helps many Americans till this day, but ultimately WW2 is what ended the great depression.</div>]]></description>
