         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Prussian Monarchy began to be opposed by its people. Rioting began in Berlin and King Frederick William IV mobilized the Prussian Army. To the shock of the people and neighboring monarchies, he allowed for elections to take place. The people in the Prussian Assembly voted to join Prussia to the rest of the German Confederation, creating a large german nation to oppose Russia. When this was announced, Frederick changed his mind and dissolved the assembly.</div>]]></description>

This was to return the rule of land to how it was before Napoleon.          <description><![CDATA[<div>The liberal ideals of the revolt wanted to make a more democratic form of government and give more power to the people. This started the revolt since Prussia was ruled under a monarch. Conservative ideals were to keep and protect the monarch which is why the liberals had to leave after the revolt failed.</div>]]></description>
