Once each student gets an iPad it’s their responsibility not to break it or download stuff illegally and that’s where the rights come in because we are free to make these choices but consequences can occur.

Digital communication etiquette refers to the set of rules that should be present in the workplace to govern behavior and use of digital communication. Digital etiquette is a basic set of rules pertaining to behaviour that needs to be followed to ensure the Internet is better for all users. An example of bad digital communication and etiquette in the work space would be students using cell phones to text in class on topics that are not class related or students communicating on a social networking site without knowing the rules or responsibilities.

https://digitalcitizenshippass.weebly.com/digital-etiquette.html

Digital law involves using technology and online resources appropriately, ethically and within the law. It is a crime to steal or cause damage to other people's work, identity or property online. They are criminals, breaking the law, either knowing or not knowing, what is appropriate or inappropriate technology use. For example, many people think that it is okay to download music without paying for it. This is illegal though and there can be serious consequences if caught. You can pay a hefty fine or even go to jail. Other violations include illegal file sharing sites, pirating software, creating viruses, hacking into systems or networks, stealing someones identity, and copyright infringement.

Should teachers and students discuss their opinions with each other?

In my opinion I think some topics are okay for a student to talk about eachothers opinion on but some topics aren’t the best. How can they do that? They could do it by just having a chat to each other about it but definitely it shouldn’t be an argument over the opinion. Should it only be about certain topics or any topic? Only certain topics because some people are very passionate about their opinions and will not admit when they’re wrong about something like if there was a debate about politics, people are very divided on that topic. Do you feel if you had a different opinion than your teacher could it affect your learning? Personally I wouldn’t mind, but I know some people would see their teacher differently and it would make it harder for them to learn from someone who doesn’t agree with them so they may not try as much in class.

3 things When shopping online some things you should look out for are, authenticity. So many online stores these days are able to scam money out of you easily. Another is the safety of the payment methods on the website, without checking your whole identity could be stolen. And most importantly check customer reviews on the item you’re buying because it can tell a lot. Some websites can be 50/50, one being amazon. Many things from there are very nice and new but also there can be some dupes. Another could be a website shein. It has some nice quality clothes that come fast but sometimes the clothes never come.

Sophia Cooley

Digital commerce is extremely important to look for when online shopping. There is so many online shops that can scam you so quickly. Some warning signs I look for to start off are reviews. If I see a product with a 3.5 star or higher, I usually assume the product is safe to buy. Another thing I look for is how my purchase will go through. If a more widely known company only offers payment through PayPal, I would assume it might be a scam. One last thing I do is ask around to my friends and see if they’ve ever bought off the website. If their reviews are high then I would trust it. Some things that can be helpful on the internet are delivery options at grocery stores and restaurants. This can be extremely helpful if you are not in the mood to go out. Another thing that’s helpful is subscription programs. A lot of companies offer subscription boxes that can be delivered to you monthly, weekly etc. This helps so much in this time we are living in because it reduces the amount we need to go out publicly. Some products that can be harmful are small untrusted websites or people creating fake websites trying to be larger companies. Websites like these can easily take your money and never send you the product you ordered or take months to send you the product and it is not quality.
