Ireland is famous for its ruined and intact Norman and Anglo-Irish castles, small whitewashed thatched cottages and Georgian urban buildings. What is undoubtedly somewhat less famous are the Palladian and Rococo country houses that can be compared to similar ones in Northern Europe, and the country's many Gothic and Neo-Gothic cathedrals and buildings. Despite the important British and European influences, fashion and architecture trends have adapted to the peculiarities of each place.

Those known as Tuatha de Danann were the fifth group of inhabitants of Ireland according to what is known as the tradition of Lebor Gabála Érem (Book of the invaders). Although folklore and mythology have spoken of these invaders as the Irish Goudelicos gods, the Christian editors reduced them to mere kings or historical heroes.

Some of them are :

• Cú Chulainn or the Irish Achilles: Specifically the most famous of the Ulster cycle, a set of writings written in prose and verse that mostly tell of the adventures of the Ulaid. Cú Chulainn, originally called Setanta, is the son of the god Lugh and Dectera.

* The God Lugh: One of the most revered Celtic deities in places like Ireland or Wales. According to Celtic legend, a druidous announcement to Balor, named after a god Fomoré, that his own grandson would kill him. He had one eye on his forehead and another behind his skull. The second was evil and was normally closed. However, when he opened it, he became a true mortal gaze capable of ending any life.

*Brighid: One of the most curious things that appear in Celtic mythology is the almost total absence of female goddesses, except for Brighid (Brigantia), who, being the only one, fulfills the role of mother, wife and daughter of others gods of the celtic pantheon. Brighid is the protector of the arts, magic, medicine and war.
