People are most likely not to look up as much while they are Texting while Walking as if they were Texting and Driving  so because you are not looking up as much you are less cautious of your surroundings and your chances are larger of getting hit witch would make both Texting while Walking as dangerous as Texting while Walking.

 Secondly, you actually have the same chances of killing someone in both Texting while Walking as Texting while Driving for example, if you're Texting and Driving you are not being to cautious of your surroundings and a car might be heading your way, it will attempt to stop but the person in the car may get really injured or even die! The same situation with Texting while Driving because the second you take your eyes off the road, you could run someone over.

 Lastly, you may make bad decisions when your Texting while Walking because you may J-walk just because it's faster and may not even look both ways before crossing. For Texting while Driving you can be a distracted driver and not have %100 percent attention to the road you are currently driving on. Somethings texting and driving and walking have in common is that they are both distracted, they both coduld get hurt example i walking and texting and hit a pole because I was distracted.People can get a  fine for  one off the things (in certain areas). Most people can mulity task.

Some differces are drivers look up and down. Walkers mostly just look down.People walking can get hit by a car ,(jay-walking).Happens when people are diatraced. Peolpe can't kill people walking and texting.
