Yesterday, I was studying for an exam and I was also cooking special food for my mother's birthday.

3. What was your best birthday?
My 18th birthday was the best because all my university friends went to my house at midnight and gave me a big surprise. We ate cake, took many pictures and danced until 2:00 am.

4. What was your best vacation? why?
My best vacation was in Armenia Quindío, in January 2019. My family rented a big farm for a week, so we could do many things there like swimming in a pool, dancing, cooking, playing board games. We also travel to nearby towns and to some parks like Parque del café and Panaca.

5. What did you do on your last vacation?
On my last vacation I did many things like sharing with my family, swimming, cooking, dancing, and playing board games. My family and I were to different towns and local parks in Armenia.

You write vacation in singular form not in plural form; so you can't say vacations but vacation. So, you say, my best vacation was in ....... You don't say my best vacation were... (Vacation means vacaciones in spanish, so this is plural when you read it).

North american people use the word vacation, not the words holiday and holidays.

England people use the words holiday and holidays not the word vacation.
The differences between holiday and holidays are:
Holiday is used when you want to say you have one or two free days.
Holidays is used when you have a long period of time (like a month or more) without working or studying.
If you want to say in english "Estoy de vacaciones" you say: "I am on holiday"
