Some people say that advertising encourages us to buy things that we really do not need. Others say that advertisements tell us about new products that may improve our lives. Which viewpoint do you agree with?

On the one hand, advertising has significant influences on the improvement of our lives. Advertisements available on commercial media have a vital role to play in equipping people with useful information about the goods that they might need. Overall descriptions of the products through advertising enables us to judge different categories avaible in the market. By doing this, people can feasibly decide whether the items meet their demand or not. As a result, judicious decisions would be made, leading to reasonable consumption. Furthermore, every business has their own useful strategy to propagate their products. In every advertisement, the emphasis would be put on the best features of the goods, which urges their competitive firms to have better products in order to make buyers choose their merchandise. Consequently, the final products coming to consumers would be high-quality ones.

On the other hand, there is an indisputable fact that advertising has negatively influenced our buying behaviors, making us go agaisnt our real needs. To meet sales targets, most big corporations exaggarate the usefullness and practicality of their new products but hide the defects when advertising, misguiding people about the real quality of the goods. An inevitable upshot of this might be the disappoinment of the buyers and the disposal of the products if they are not identical to what they were advertised. Furthermore, large companies often cooperate with celebrities or illustrious people, who have a profound effect to consumers to encourage people make a purchase. The public, especially afficionados of these famous people can willingly devote a large amount of money to possess the same items with their idols, even things that they do not really need. The high sales of SamSung after having selected BTS to be its ambassador can support this idea. Furthermore, the influence of marketing stimulate the inquisitiveness of consummers, constituing a large number of impulsive buyers. Take fast fashion as an illustration. Many people want to stay up to date with the lastest fashions, so they often buy trendy items even if these stuffs do not match their style. Not unexpectedly, these clothings would be threw away after a short period of time, releasing a massive amount of clothes into the environment. This is not only an unhealthy consumerism but also a contributory factor in global pollution.

In conclusion, eventhough the advertising plays an indispensable role in our better-quality life, I opine that it mostly tempt people to buy products that they might not otherwise want, which intrinsically contrary to the consumers' real demands and result in unnecessary consupmtion.

On the one hand, consumers may reap benefits from the popularity of commercial advertisements for a combination of reasons. First and foremost, advertising plays a pivotal role in helping people have deeper insights into new information about numerous products on media platforms at the push of a button. Since markets usually have a variety of merchandise, advertisements enable customers to judge different items and then pick up the suitable and affordable one depending on their demand. Moreover, in the absence of advertisements, the human race may not be introduced crucial and valuable products. One such example of this is that thanks to real pictures and live videos about the importance of wearing masks in Covid-19 pandemic, all citizens are fully aware of potential dangers of this disease, paving the way for a successful preventive program.

On the other hand, I am convinced that advertisements exert detrimental impacts on people’s finances. The first supporting point is that commercial advertisements lead people to confusion on their own buying decision. To achieve high profits from consumers, enterprises have a tendency to exaggerate the usefulness and expedience of a small feature of their items by presenting false facts about goods. As a result, buyers come to the frustration that the information given in the advertisement was by far similar to the actual product.

On the one hand, it is undoubted fact that

On the other hand, it goes without saying that the main purpose of most advertisements is to persuade consumers to make a purchase of unnecessary items. In order to gain more popularity from buyer, large companies often exaggerate the merits of their products even though they are not like that when advertising. An illustration of this is whenever a new type of mobile phone is published, THERE seems TO BE NOTHING different FROM its predecessor, except for a slightER convenienCE. HOWEVER, marketers are skillful enough to convince customers that their smart phoneS are MUCH faster and stronger than the prEVIOUS ONES. Hence, people would certainly get their current phoneS upgraded to the latest version. In addition, entrepreneurs can promote sales by taking advantage of celebrities’ endorsement, especially in the today's modern world. THESE PRODUCTS BECOME BEST-SELLING THANKS TO THE NUMBER OF THEIR FANS. For instance, a normal pair of shoes that IS AFFORDABLE can be push to a sky high price, ten times or twenty times higher than the initial price , when its brand makeS a collaboration with a famous pop star. Consequently, the primary goal of advertising is enhancing profit for companies, not meeting customers’ demands.

On the one hand, advertising has MADE A GREAT IMPROVEMENT IN PEOPLE'S LIVING STANDARD/ PEOPLE'S LIFE. Firstly, it informs people about different products through overlapping commercials on different media. By giving the overal information/ DESCRIPTIONS, people can judge different items available in the market and decide whether those are what they ARE looking for. Furthermore, advertisING SEEMS TO BE a firing competition AMONG various companies in the same field. The more features the product has, the more likely people WILL BE TO choose. THIS is why many companies usually make a big investment IN the production process and the commercial activities. However, it is true that sometimes, many new productS are similar or nearly haVE no big improvement comparED to their previous version and model.
On the other hand, advertisement are said to misguide people into buying unnecessary products. Firstly, many companies only stress on the advantages of their products and hide the demerits and side effects aways. Additionally, the are also reports said that they made up the uses of their item without any documents to prove. For example, the year 1935, after realise how much money people would spent on health suppliers, many company had introduced various of medicines that can improve people's health. However, most of them had not went through any examine or safety test, yet none of the consumer known.

On the one side, many people beliEve that advertising plays a fantastic role in terms of giving useful information about the products. Advertising provides us with useful information which helps us judging different products available in the market./ OVERALL/ THOROUGH DESCRIPTIONS THROUGH ADVERTISEMENTS ENABLE US TO JUDGE DIFFERENT PRODUCTS AVAILABLE IN THE MARKET FOR OUR FINAL CHOICE. IN OTHER WORDS, information about products CAN BE COLLECTED BY CUSTOMERS to compare their featureS and priceS before purchasing WHICH ONE IS SUITABLE FOR THEM. Moreover, normally in advertising, manufactures focus the best feature of their product which influences other manufactures to have better product in order to compete. In that case, competitors tend to offer a quality product in a comparatively reasonable price. Thus, consumers can get the best product with a cheaper price

On the other side, advertising often tend to misguide people. Most of the cases, they only care about advantages and hide the demerits. Not only they use partial information, but equally use famous celebrities in order to manipulate people’s buying decision. For example, famous celebritIES' PARTICIPATION IN ADVERTISING laundry products or houseware ENCOURAGES many OF THEIR fans TO PURCHASE tHEM although these/ SUCH products are unnecessary for them. Moreover, some advertisements ARE released with a view to persuade customers to make a purchase regardless of their true needs. To meet their sales, some brands often exaggerate the usefulness and function of products. For examples, the latest Iphone smartphone seems TO BE NOTHING different from the predecessor except for the a slightly faster ONE, but this brand marketers are skillful enough to convince customers that their older phones are obsolete and they need to upgrade their phone.

It goes without saying that advertising has a great influence on the world economy. There are still misinterpretations exsiting in the society about advertisement only polishes the popularity of the products that are redundant or valueless. Nevertheless, it is the only method to introduce new products in this bustling life since people do not have time to consider its perks. In addition, it only stands little chances to create revolutionary-products due to the market saturation. Moreover, if there are any prospects of inventing them under the domination of conglomerates which priority is advertising their own merchandise, it is impossible for those items to fulfill the customers' needs

Adverts are beneficial for consumers and companies. Companies need to inform about their newly advance and upgraded products to customers. On the other hand, people are also looking for a variety of choices which will make their life more efficient and comfortable. As a result, both of them depend on and use the advertisement to complete their purpose. For example, the sale of Apple company's new mobiles is rising because of the adverts, which provides the latest gadgets information to all customers, who are always looking for updated Apple products. Overall, there is a strong correlation between advertisements and people for growth in trade and live.
