Ava ends up finding out that her father isn't her real father which starts going downhill from there. A couple of days later in the book Ava and one of her best friends get kidnapped by Alex's uncle which reveals Alex's darkest secret and makes Ava both scared and angry at Alex. Ava moves to Europe and right as she takes off Alex tries to find her but she has already taken off. Alex ends up going to Europe to find her and tries to gain her trust once again. It took Ava a while but ends up giving in to Alex once again and living happily after that.

My advice would be to pick a book that is part of a series so that you have that to build off of. if you don't have a book series that you like I would suggest choosing an author that you like and going from there. Last year I started reading the series The Summer I Turned Pretty by Jenny Han, for my first book report in Dr Young's class I had to decide on a book to read that's when Ms Nikels suggested Shug by Jenny Han. The book Shug is full of fun suprises along the journey of a teenage girl named Shug who is navigating the works of young adulthood. I would highly recommend this book aswell as any book by Jenny Han.

I owned this book for a long time before finally deciding to pick it up and read it, and boy am I glad I did. This is the first of 4 books plus some extra ones about other characters. This book was a good mix of action, violence, and romance which is my kinda book. I personally loved this series. Its based on a girl named Jude who is bullied because her and her twin sister are human. one of the guys who bullies her is Cardan one of the princes. The story takes a turn well Jude is trying to find herself and make herself one of the. I would recommend this book to a more mature reader as the second book gets more mature. But it is such a great book.
