Key Take Aways:
- It is important to actively use learning targets in the classroom so students can have ownership and accountability for what they are learning.

- Constantly referring to those learning targets and checking for understanding along the way will only help the students be leaders of their own learning. Rubrics are the best and easiest way to explicitly let the students know what your expectations are.

- Celebrations of learning are good ways to keep students motivated and rewarding them for going above and beyond with taking ownership for their learning.

Sharing what we have learned:
- I think the best way to share what we have learned is to communicate with our colleagues what is working for us and share resources with them during grade level and/or department meetings.

Key Take Aways:
- It is incredibly important to make sure students understand what their learning targets are for the unit. When students accept and understand learning targets, they will become more self sufficient.

- Using learning targets to assure that students understand what is expected of them is very important. Constantly allowing students to state learning targets will hopefully boost the overall learning of my students.

Sharing with peers:
I will definitely be sharing the educational methods I've learned from this course with my peers. Hopefully, they will see the importance of ensuring students grasp the concept of learning targets during their classes.
