Sewing an anchor stitch and running stitches

I started by doing the anchor to make the stitch secure which was pretty simple, then I started to stitch which was pretty tricky because the strings of the fabric kept getting in the way however I managed that by cutting those strong. I tried to make the stitch as straight and small as possible so that the two pieces of fabric stays stronger.

As you can see my stitch below, it is quite hard to see because the thread and the fabric has similar color but I was able to achieve a straight line stitch that has a small gap hole so that it won't break easily.

I think the paper mask is too big on me especially on my chin, so I have reduced the size on the bottom a bit, however after thinking about it, I didn't really need to change any measurements because I feel that after sewing, my ask size will become better therefore I'm sticking to the original template.

i started with the anchor but the look on it wasn't really neat because it was a bit bulky, as i went ahead and stitch i found that some of the stitches were slightly slanted and not making a straight line. Therefore whenever the needle is in the bottom, i've tried to make sure the needle was on the line drawn to make sure that the placement wasn't wrong.
