I was- by accident- involved in one negative accident, where my students were chatting online in a very impolite way. I contacted parents, the guidance counsellor and the headteacher. Together, we solved the problem: the class had extra lessons with the counsellor and me. The students that were directly involved in that situation had special meetings with me, parents and counsellor. All of us tried to learn from that situation and learned some extra tools to use in these situations in future.

I remember once my brother told me he had felt as if I was screaming to him because I always wrote him Whatsapp messages and emails in capital letters. I didn't really understand why until he told me about the Netiquette rules. This I had never heard about. Now, I never use capital letters unless I want to emphasise something in particular.

Once I received a reply on Twitter of a person who seemed very angry with me. I didn't understand why and got really flustered for a while. Then, I read my post again and I realised that I had misplaced some commas and full posts, making it a very different message of what I had wanted to write! I felt very ashamed and, I from then on, I always check what I write before posting it!
