Gist task - 
we would take away the headings for the 4 different sections and get the students to match the headings to the correct parts of the text.

Scanning for specific information task - 
We would make groups of 4. Each person int he group is allocated a different section. They are each given a different set of questions (eg. when is the farmers market?).
