It also made me look for details when I watch tv or read that I never thought of such as lighting, cameras and what isn't included. This also made me break down writing in sections which I used in bigger projects to breakdown then fill in later. It also made me realize how different anybody watching a show would think. Varying backgrounds, education, ethnicities would all look so differently at frames.

The music narrative allowed me to use sensory details and tell a story about a situation I was in, while combining that within an assignment.  I realized that it is important to go through the assignment of what is expected before writing and after to make sure everything is included. I learned to check things off what is asked for in the assignment to make sure my papers are complete. I can tell in this paper I did not use an outline but was able to pull it off since it was more storytelling.

I felt this assignment really made my writing stronger. I read critiques of the show and realized that everyone can see the same show so differently. By doing the 5 Clicks with this I could see that opinions were never the same. I realized that it was okay to have my own opinion when I am writing and not just write what I think people want to hear.

With the show Succession, I tried to not give away the story to the reader however I wanted to convey my own critique and opinions on how current world landscapes are related to the show. I believe I did this and was able to be a critic of the show, but also like the writers we read I was able to attach it to an overreaching life thought.  I also learned that it is ok to have and voice my own opinion in writing and recognize that some readers may not like it, and that is okay and can make a piece stronger.

Freewriting helps to keep me from going in tangents and also to keep track of what the assignment points are that need to be included. I also read a lot of opinions on the show after I did the free writing thinking of things to research. It kicks off the ability to think more worldly with an open mind.
