How do you think that these collaborative efforts could be better implemented within your school, based on their current practices? Do not hesitate to move your response around the pad and group your responses together based upon similarities/differences/other variables.

As I was contemplating on this amazing initiative and idea, I reflected on why this is a challenging task in our school board and why we practice multi-disciplinary approach rather than the interdisciplinary one. Here are my thoughts:
1. Time restraints (I have 130 students with ASD on my caseload spread throughout 10 different schools)
2. Continuous changes in staffing
3. Different beliefs, cultures, approaches, and priorities in different schools based on the administrative leadership choices
4. And finally, insufficient number of professionals across disciplines ( 15 SLPs, 6 OTs, 6 ASD consultants, 8 Inclusive Education consultants, 10 Psychologists - some only doing assessments)
