Ms. Walker will be presented with the award and recognized at the newly re-dedicated Holy Rosary Fall Festival to be held at the Church and Academy campus at 190 Graylynn Dr in the heart of Donelson on Sunday, October 21, 2018 from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM.  
The presentation will be held around 1:00 pm. We hope you will make plans to attend !

In 2004 Peggy hired me on staff at HRA and being guided under her leadership was a joy. She has a way of uniting people for the good of the school with her endless positivity and enthusiasm. A wonderful, well-deserved honor for an amazing woman, educator, and administrator. Your love for HRA and the community was, and still is, remarkable. I know am just one of many people you inspired to become an educator. From encouraging me to get a MLIS degree, proofing papers, and supporting your faculty and staff with a passion, to your unwavering support of our library program, your endless commitment to education, especially Catholic education, is an inspiration. Watching you lead with compassion and attentiveness taught me so much about education, children, and life. As a parent of two boys that graduated from HRA, our family never felt more welcome and loved at a school. The doors at HRA were always open. I remember parents coming in and out to decorate doors and bulletin boards, put together festivals and auctions, coach HRA teams, make dinners, and so much more. Those were happy times, as we all felt a part of an amazing community and something much bigger. You made sure we were and felt appreciated, whether it was a note, a small token, or a simple thank you, you never forgot to recognize others for their work.
