For some Christians, baptism happens a couple days after they are born but, baptism to adults can happen. Water is used to baptize because it is a symbol of cleansing and purification. Sometimes, you aren't baptized at all (Quakers and Christian Scientist). 
 In Roman Catholic law, Godparents have to be at the baptism ceremony. Godparents are the people who promise to be responsible for the baby's religious life if the parent's can't.
 A baby is often given a name during baptism. This is called a Christening. For some Christians (such as Catholics), People get sent to either Heaven if they repented their sins, Hell if they didn't repent and are sinful, or Purgatory if they are in between. Purgatory is where they wait to go to heaven while their souls are cleaned and made ready for God. 
          The Anointing of the Sick is given to deathly ill people. The person (or minister if unable to) asks for forgiveness.
Christian funerals vary but, in some countries wakes (a period of mourning and prayer) follows the funeral. After the funeral, a lot of times people will gather at the family's house.
