The major conflict in <strong>House Arrest is EXTERNAL, character vs. character </strong>because the whole book centers around the main character's fight against the authorities for a crime he committed. On the other hand, in <strong>Five People You Meet in Heaven, the major conflict is INTERNAL. </strong>For example, Eddie has a <strong>character vs. self</strong> conflict as he discovers the impact his life decisions had on others.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>One for the murphy's and between shades of gray<br>One for the Murphys is internal, character vs. self, because she is thinking a lot about if she wants to stay with her foster family or leave and go back to her mom, Carley is not sure if she loves or trusts her mom enough to go back.   <br>                                    Between shades of gray,&nbsp; has an external conflict because Lina, her little brother, and her mother were taken by the NKVD officers because of the war and everything going on around them. This is character vs. society.</div>]]></description>
