Physical- Teaches children motor skills as they have to first go on a hunt to find the leafs, pick them up, then place them on the tree in the correct order.

Social Emotional- Students can socialize amongst themselves and help one another find their leaves. They can also talk things through and practice vocabulary.

Moral- Through this activity, children can learn to share with others (if there are multiple of each number leaf in the room) and also how to deal with emotions. If they cannot find the correct leaf they may feel upset at first but we can help them to calm down and control themselves. This is very important.

Cognitive- Children have to think this activity through while completing it. Matching the leaves to the correct number forces them to think and learn numbers. They are also now able to identify a tree and relate it/ the leaves to what is outside during fall time.

Overall, this activity is enriching and fun for children under the age of 5. It teaches them critical thinking with numbers, what trees are/the weather outside, and how to search for something.

Physical: Kids have to figure how to push the thread through the right hole without overlapping on the sides of the pumpkin.

Social Emotional: This activity can be done in any place anytime with no mess, and because of that this is a good activity to bring on the go wherever, like being outdoors or even in a long car ride they can still be engaging in play. If the child is having a hard time getting the threads through the right hole, they can use verbal skills to ask for help and be shown what they should do.

Moral: Kids have to thread the pumpkin without overlapping the string on the exterior part of it. The children can better learn how to count to 20 and to count in general.

Cognitive: This activity requires kids to know how to count to at least 20 and be able to understand how to thread the pumpkin using the numbers.

Physical:

Paper Pumpkins can help children, develop the sense of their writing skills, The muscles in their hand can help firm their grip on the pencils and can help them improve their writing skills.

Social/Emotional: This activity is more of a social activity to help them talk to their class mates about what they want to put on their pumpkin because this is a two person activity or a whole group activity because on every park of the pumpkin they can write about what they like about Fall and maybe someone in their group can have the same answer to what they are going to put down. This can help a lot cause you can never know if someone likes the same thing as you if you don't talk about it and it can make the child happy that maybe they just made a new friend.

Cognitive: This can help the child think about what they like about Fall, and can help others too. Can also help them process the information that they are writing down about what they like about Fall.

Moral: Can help on how the child act around their classmates, and this can help with behavior, which can help a lot. Every child can have different beliefs and what they like can be different from the other person and when the child realizes that everyone is different in their own way, that can help the child be themselves around people, because then they will know that being different is good.
