Jim Brady was appointed as the assistant to the President and White House Secretary. However, during the assassination attempt on Reagan, Brady was shot in the head and was paralyzed on one side of his body.

After this tragic incident, Jim Brady began to live a life vowed towards curbing, and one day ending all gun violence and gun deaths.

I believe this because we all have the right to "keep and bear arms." We cannot take away any of the sub rights that are apart of the second amendment, because if you start to take away rights from the second amendments, then that opens up an argument to being able to take away stuff from the other amendments. Also, criminals commit crimes, so if you outlaw automatic firearms, then, of course, the criminal will not follow the outlawed law. I understand the views of people who see shootings on Tv and want to ban the weapon. However, a gun does not kill people. People kill people, and rather than taking away an object we should change societies view that its the weapons fault.
