However the government in Guatemala, who controls all radio frequencies, charge exorbitant fees for broadcasting rights, favoring commercial and foreign media companies. The government now claims there are no more frequencies available for community radio. Because of the government's orders, the radio station are being attacked, the broadcasters are being jailed and causing all the indigenous populations feel afraid or scared. This is the situation that people in Guatemala have to face everyday. Furthermore, the indigenous people must cry out for their rights to ask for their own form of communication. As a result, the Maya people are not able to express their needs, the government is taking away their freedom of expression as women and citizens of Guatemala. This indigenous group have fought over many years for their rights.

Even though the government claimed that there are no more frequencies available for community radio. However, the Cultural Survival Providing protect the indigenous people. They provide grants to support indigenous radio station.They also provides training to community radio broadcasters and journalists, provide legal defense support and connect the indigenous radio station globally to build strong support alliances. To summarise, the Cultural Survival has helped the minority group (Mayans) to use and function their community radio.

  1. Mentoring: The mentoring program targeted/aimed at the black community which help both children and parents. For instance, children who are 10 years old or older are taken through a life-skills program, covering important topics like self-esteem, goal setting, money management, succeeding at school and social media. 
  2. Education: This program support parents and young people to build their capacity to learn and succeed in school. In the past, they have run workshops at schools from their programs such as How to Succeed at School and Developing Healthy Relationships. 
  3. Economic Empowerment: 100 Black Men of London believe that the economic empowerment is one of the fundamental needs for the development of any community. The Business program is based on the ethos of empowering business people to build sustainable world-beating businesses that make real profit, grow, and create a business legacy for the children and community.
  4. Health & Wellness: This program is designed to educate and encourage people to take charge of their health, by focusing on topics like fitness & nutrition, diabetes, cancer and other conditions.

The act of fighting against the Department of Territory Families is very effective because it helps Maningrida, a community living with shame and heartbreak became more confident. The Maningrida people held an assembly of respected elders who want to see things change once for all and aim to bring the children back. The  thought of standing up and fight against the people who took their kids had help the indigenous people to gain back their right as well as uniting with their kids/families.

The actions and policies that the 100 Black Men of London are pretty affective because they are aiming for equality where the Black People have the rights to achieve their dreams and have better living status. Furthermore, they also offer programs (mentoring, education, economic empowerment and health & wellness) that will help them in the future. Throughout the world, there are still black people who don't have the same rights and equal treatments as the others among their society. Others isolated themselves from the indigenous population (black people) and the society tends to believe that indigenous people are "disgusting." However, the 100 Black Men of London community had came to the world and is created to protect the black people. Nowadays, black people also have the chance to learn and encounter new things that they experience before.
