Therefore I tried my best in my science class to lock in all information I could. Since I have been in NS: 100 I have learned about the scientific method and the steps to prove a theory. I never realize what scientists go through while trying to prove something true. In this class, I will continue to grow by studying, observing, and trying to prove theories. I will also be open to discoveries and knowing whether what I think may be able to be possible or made true.

I guess I never had to use it in my day-to-day life.
I now know that there are steps in the scientific method and there are steps in the scientific inquiry. Now when I find the information I would like to go test my hypothesis and see if it is true. I will try to learn all that NS 100 has for me so I will be able to pass the wealth of information on to my students. As I have said before I only can grow through learning and practicing the knowledge that is given. Science is truly evolving every day.

I have always gone through life living. Is there any other way to live? I am focused and ready to be an organized being and one who evolves. I am so grateful to be alive and able to move and have my being. Moreover, I am grateful for the opportunity to reproduce and have children because there are so many that are not able. After taking this course it has allowed me to see science explains how we got here and why we are the human vessels that we are. Through this NS: 100 I will grow to be more thankful and more aware of how I got here. Life is a gift and we as human beings must live it like it is our last knowing that tomorrow may not come for us to make the very best of today. Live boldly and help somewhere along the way!

Thinking about different diseases I fill that this is very important. Well, we did talk about sickle cell disease briefly and I know a little because my God sister has it. She was told that because her cells were sickled she probably wouldn't be able to have a child but she beat the odds. Not to say she hasn't had a crisis but I feel like since she has had her daughter she is doing a lot better. I feel my thinking has changed for the better because I know that scientists are working to find a cure are at least something that corrects the sickled cells. I will continue to study to be informed and give all that I have learned to my students. This is an educational journey that I have waited for many years. Achievement is on the horizon!

How things have to be tested and tried and proven. I have a change of mind about things that I didn't know about science. We learned with a simulation that we could change the outcome of the bunnies that we started out with if we change the environment, food source, or a mutation. It allowed me to see that through generations and predators, we may lose a certain species and another might be dominant. With what I learned about the bunnies I found that it could also show us that we can be born a certain way and mutations may occur. Things that we don't know about will sometimes change the outcome of our makeup. Science is amazing always changing molecules.

I don't fill that there is no hope for the students I serve in the classroom daily. Well, my thinking has changed because it has thought me that no student is the same and that you meet the student on his or her level. We must readjust our teaching skills to be able to reach those who may not get it the first or the second time. Moving on through my career I will always take constructive criticism and listen to educators who are before me. I will vow to teach the unteachable and reach the unreachable.
