HSTRY is an interactive online tool that allows students to present a variety of formats of information in a particular order (chronological or otherwise).

I will definitely use HSTRY has a presentation tool for my students to utilize. It's easy and intuitive for elementary students. However, it's great for me to present information in a particular order. For example, my 3rd graders are having a hard time understanding that the Pilgrims lived on the Mayflower for WEEKS after arriving in Plymouth. This type of format will help clarify misunderstandings of this nature.

It is not limited for Social Studies, but all subjects can use it in varied different ways.

I am planning on having students use it to present on trans-boundary pollution.

I made my 'practice' timeline about some of the events leading up to the revolutionary war, and it would be cool to have students add on by creating timelines with other related events.

It will also help show cause/effect relationships. Ex: plotting out the dates of British taxes and the dates of Patriot responses such as the Boston Massacre & Boston Tea Party.
