The monkey king works on mastering the twelve disciplines of Kung-fu. He gets a letter to report the underwater palace immediately for his execution. He tells the dragon that he is no longer a monkey, and he is a god now, but don't believe him until he proves them. Then he goes to all the others and tell them that he is a god. They become fed up and went to complain about him. All the spirits go and complain about how he must be stopped, so they do. Tze-yo-tzuh comes and tells the monkey he is just a monkey, but the monkey king does not accept it. Tze-yo-tzuh barries him, and stays barried for 500 years.

Jin ends up liking a girl named Amelia. Wei-Chen on the other hand starts dating Suzy. Jin really has a crush on a Amelia, but he won't talk to her. Wei-Chen tries to get him to volunteer to take care of the lizard with Amelia, but he ends up volunteering himself. Jin is worried that some other guy likes Amelia and she likes him, so he gets a perm to kind of look like the guy.  One day they get locked in the closet, and Wei-Chen talks about how grateful he is for Jin. Jin comes to look for them and finds them. He ends up asking Amelia if she wants to hang out and she says yes.

Later, after basketball practice Danny confesses about how embarrassed Chin-Kee makes him, and how he has had to change schools three times because of him to Steve.

There were four monks. One of them was Wong Lai-Tsao. He was the worst of all monks. But every morning for a year he would gather fruit, share it with a town near by, and dress the vargants wounds. They asked why he did this and he said it was because he loves providing with his daily needs. Later he finds out that he is commissioned. He runs into the monkey king and gives him a lesson about who he truly is. At first the monkey rejects the fact that he's a monkey, but later accepts who he is.

After hearing this Jin goes out and talks to Suzy. Suzy tells him about how she was sad because her old friend did not actually like her and how being called chinky really made her realize. Then he kisses her, she slaps him and runs away. Later Wei-Chen comes over and Jin tells him he's not worthy for Suzy. Jin ends up getting punched. He thinks for a long time that night, and when he wakes up he's a different person. He names himself Danny.

Turns out that Chin-Kee is the Monkey King. Then he tells Danny to take off his disguise, and Danny becomes Jin again. The Moneky King explains to Jin that Wei-Chen is actually his son on a mission. But then his son leaves and decides to stay in the Human world.
