Snapchat is very popular right now, Musicians can use snapchat to update their fans daily on their activities and let people sneak peak their practice time.

Instagram is a 'selfie' and photography social media where musicians can network using photography. Instagram is a great place to put pictures or videos of recent band practice allowing fans to hear what you're making. 

YouTube is a video based social media where bands and artists can upload music videos or live recordings of themselves to self promote.
