Italy is an extraordinary nation, rich in history, art and traditions, capable of fascinating millions of visitors every year.

In Italy you can find both sea and mountains. A large part of Italy is occupied by mountain ranges (19 out of 21 regions), while the coasts run for over 8,000 km. In the crystalline waters of the Ionian Sea, the Adriatic Sea and the Tyrrhenian Sea you can find a good part of the beauty that makes our country unique. Rich in waterfalls, islands, lakes, mountains, hills, plains... there are also various animal and plant species, so Italy can be considered as “ a treasure chest of biodiversity”.

Italy currently holds the record for the largest number of UNESCO World Heritage Sites; in fact, it has a rich history that dates back to the Roman Empire. You can visit ancient ruins, such as the Colosseum in Rome or Pompeii, and immerse yourself in the epic stories that these cities hold. Italy is also famous for its Renaissance art, with works by legendary artists such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Raphael. You can admire masterpieces such as the Statue of David in Florence or the Sistine Chapel in the Vatican. Italy is a true paradise for lovers of art and culture. But Italy is also a modern and vibrant country. Rome, Milan or Naples are famous for their vibrant nightlife with clubs, bars and restaurants.

Italy is a country with a great culinary tradition and a great heritage of flavors and raw materials. Our nation is famous for its delicious dishes like pizza, pasta, tiramisù, ice cream and many more. Italy is also the leading producer of wines in terms of quantity, but the quality is also really excellent! In recent decades, Italian wines, both red and white, have established themselves internationally. Wines such as Prosecco and Spumante are becoming leaders in the sector. And the Italian grappa and liqueurs sector is also making great progress. “Made in Italy” is an internationally recognized mark of excellence: Italian products have always been admired for their quality, style and craftsmanship. Fashion, automotive, food and interior design are driving this expansion, making Italy the undisputed leader in several market categories. Among the successful examples, brands such as Ferrari, Armani, Prada and Gucci stand out for their international impact. These brands not only promote Italian style and innovation but are also ambassadors of Italian culture and know-how abroad.

Fisciano, with its 14.106 citizens, is a rural village located in the southern area of Italy (in the Province if Salerno, Campania).

It is divided in 10 little areas: Bolano, Canfora, Carpineto, Gaiano, Lancusi , Penta, Pizzolano, Settefichi, Villa and Soccorso. It hostes the University of Salerno with students coming from all the Southern part of the nation. The economy is mainly based on agriculture and sheep farming. The traditional copper working activities stopped in 1980s, although there are still some metal/plastic/glass mechanics sectors. The first historical trace of Fisciano dates back to 977 AD; in the Middle Ages, it was under the control of the Sanseverino Family who played an important role in its development, especially for the craftsmanship. In Fisciano there are a lot of interesting monuments and sites of interest, such as Santuario San Michele di Mezzo, a sanctuary dedicated to Saint Michael, reflecting the town's religious heritage and Chiesa di San Bartolomeo Apostolo, a church that adds to the town's rich ecclesiastical architecture.

The Kastamonu language is included in the Oghuz dialect of Turkish and is one of the dialects of Turkish in Turkey. Its origins are based on the language of the Turkish tribes that migrated from Central Asia to Anatolia. Since the Kastamonu region was an important settlement area, especially during the Seljuk and Ottoman periods, the regional dialect has been influenced by the development of Anatolian Turkish throughout history. And the Kastamonu people generally use the letter [G] instead of the letter [K].

In short, the Kastamonu language is a continuation of Oghuz Turkish, which comes from Central Asian Turkish, and has been shaped by historical developments in Anatolia.
