I remember reading a couple books like Shawshank Redemption, Salem Witch Trials, and the Crucible and we also read a bunch of short stories. We had to write essays on all three books. We also learned how to use online writing tools to help us write our essays.

We read the crucible and did activities based on the novel, after that we pretty much did some stuff with literary terms, wrote a paper on whether or not we thought computers were necessary to the classroom. After that we studied and too the final.

I remember reading some things about the puritans. Then reading crucible. Doing vocab. And reading about the founding fathers. And we did an essay. We used the Pearson book.

In first semester we read the crucible and did projects over it. We also read ministers black veil, Shaw shank redemption. We wrote compare and contrast papers about change. We did a lot of the same terms we learned last year.

We honestly didn’t do much. We read the crucible, we wrote an essay that Mrs. Morgan kept teaching one way, then telling us we were wrong and having us do it a different way. Then we read the ministers black vail and took a test about literature terms that we were never taught in our specific class. We also read, watched, and wrote an essay on the shawshank redemption that was supposed to point the differences between the book and the movie and she kept telling us to focus on character, not differences total. But all in all, Mr. Kimble, I learned absolutely nothing except for the fact that the shawshank redemption is a good movie.

Well we started 1st semester with vocab which introduced us to myths and origin myths. That’s where we learned about the way characters reoccur throughout history. Then we started learning about literature terms. Next we started learning about American history by reading the play The Crucible.
