         <description><![CDATA[<div>One easy way I check in with students is by adding a question on a quiz that asks if there is anything I should know or they want me to know.&nbsp; To make it easier sometimes I give them a multiple choice question at the end of a quiz that asks what emoji are they feeling.&nbsp;😀 😊 🙂 🙃</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I ask students if they want to see their grades as a way to get them to my desk to look over what classes they are struggling with and ask them about their plans to improve.&nbsp; Helping them strategize a plan to improve is an easy way to let the students know I care about them beyond my class.  </div>]]></description>
