We are continuing Chapter 6 covers comparing fractions and finding fractions that are equivalent. We will complete the chapter before we head off to break. Lessons 6.6- Review for the test. Under “Homework Printables” there are notes and other helpful videos and tutorials for this chapter.

IXL Tracker CH. 6 is due on Tuesday Dec. 17, the day of the chapter test.

IXL is a program we use to reinforce skills we practice in class. Each skill must be done to 60 smart score or higher. Your teacher has assigned your student their own goal numbers. We mostly complete this work in class but sometimes it is assigned for homework.

We are continuing our novel study on Island of the Blue Dolphins. This week we read Chapters 16-18. Please look at the "Absent Activities" to find the chapters we are reading this week. If absent, it is important that you keep up with the reading.

With a new trimester, our writing focus switches from Informational Writing to Narrative Writing. Students will create their own Fractured Fairy Tale.
