We reached the gold standard with our business partner, who brought incredible passion to making both the energy park and water treatment plant exciting and engaging spaces for “edutainment.” The students thoroughly enjoyed the field trip experience, and the driving question was thoughtfully designed to match their developmental level.

We also received a lot of positive feedback from families. Many appreciated the chance for students to work with real business partners, collaborate with peers, present their ideas, and explore how each plant serves the community through the design process. Parents shared that the project sparked rich conversations at home, with plenty of ideas flowing around the dinner table.
