It is well known that in Mexico half of the population or maybe more, use their technology to be in contact with friends, family, work mates or every other person who has a electronic device. But how this impact in our relationships? the technology apart us or unite us? Well Carla Alvarado who is a writer in Maestría en responsabilidad social from the Anahuac University. Carla says that the companies and the individuals can transmit any information about the world using digital technology and wide band. Although, to go so far as to persuade a person to carry out and action, to realize a negotiation in order to achieve an agreement, or simply to identify the emotions of your work team, couple, family etc, hardly they will be able to be carried out of successful form of an indirect form. The technology advances must be a support so that the communication flows correctly and not to turn into a barrier when we have a direct dealing with any person. Basically the technology like digital devices or social networks are making us more distant persons affecting our way to make friends or affecting the way that we communicate.

Technology has put our relationships in beta, redefining how we communicate our desires and trust one another. Brought to you in partnership with Paramount’s Men, Women and Children, here are five unbelievable ways in which technology is changing the very fabric of our societies, revealing how little we know about the people we think we know – and how little we know ourselves

“Disrupting technologies of communication – such as the alphabet, such as language – absolutely change the architecture of the brain,” says digital scholar and techno-optimist Jason Silva, host of the Shots of Awe web series. “We are designed by that which we have designed, including language, technology, and visual media.”

Right now society is going through a process where Technology is taking big part in our lifes, according to various studies from universities all around Mexico like UNAM and Universidad Panamericana technology has a bad effect on personal relationships beacause it gets close those who are far away but separate those that are close to each other. However,
Jose Luis Lopez, coordinator of the Social Media Investigation Group said that virtual relationships doesnt substitute the physical ones, in fact the roles are inverted.

"Virtual Relationships tend to turn physical and the face to face relationships are being virtualized, for example, followers in social media that stablish strong links between them are organizing dates to get a coffee or simply know each other and physical relationships are becoming more virtual"

Jose Luis says that this is just a characteristic of the adaptation of technology in human relations.

Today, we use applications like Instagram as “mental scaffolding” for our memories – and soon, predicts Silva, we will be able to fully immerse ourselves in the output of someone else’s dreamspace without the square confines of a handheld device. For better or worse, we either use these tools to offer our vision of the world in a certain place and time, or to stupefy our audience.

“Whatever dating site you use, you ‘meet’ someone and immediately start fantasizing about them, because it can be more fun than reality,” says Bea Arthur, a mental health counselor and founder of Pretty Padded Room, an online therapy website. “I see people delaying meeting in person for as long as possible, although we know better.”

Our fears and motives surrounding online dating stem from personal experience; for example, experienced daters may intuitively know to rule out a bad fit right away, while experienced, jaded daters may want to “drag out the dream a little longer.”

-Marco Jimenez Alvarez
Writter in Humanistic areas

As technology has been evolving trough the years we have encountered a lot of problems related to that subject, specially because social networks have been so influential in our lives that we can say almost without a doubt, that for people with access to internet is essential to be logged most of the time on it. As Reynaldo Mendoza said: "The interaction and communication between two people was based on presence or absence of those people, so they could initiate a conversation."

This author also says that in our modern society it is more important the relevance of an individual than what he or she can apport to society as a community.

The contact between people is now a consecutive amount of letters that can be read trough an electronical device. Now people tend more to upload a comment or a photograph than actually meeting with a friend to tell him an story.

Now the publicity is being streamed in social media, beacuse is now the place where most of the people will search for something funny, even events, concerts, partys and more!
