Curved Cup Attempt

In this shape, I was going for a curved cup. I Immediately realize the corners on the bottom half are way too thick in comparison to the thickness on the top half and that the floor might be a little too thin. There is also a wobble near the lip of the piece which could have been collared out.

The walls are sooooo unproportional and the walls thickness varies throughout the entire piece. i could have pulled more from the bottom and not made the floor so thin.

I could have made the wall thickness more even but my attepmte was okay. stuck my firger to far when i opened and my under cut.

I could have pulled more weight out of the bottom, but my overall attempt was good but maybe more height and even thickness towards the top and collar it to prevent a V-shape.

This bowl is most likely my best piece thus far. i could pull a bit more from bottom but shape is good and no wobbles my pull lines are pretty close togther too!

This is my first double bubble that has made it through the stages of throwing and trimming, with a foot front. It is very nice and I love it! Next time maybe I could trim more to inside shape and pull more weight off when I was throwing it.

This is my second thrown with a trimmed foot ring. My first foot ring was much better and the floor in this one is uneven so just need to fix that next time I throw. Overall cute! Not my best work tho..

I trimmed right through the bottom. Next time I need to be more aware of my trimming and trim more to make a change in direction. 😭😭it was a great thrown I messed up trimming tho, it’s okay next time I’ll do better!

Flower sculpture mug

I hand carved all the details in this mug and put a lot of effort and time into this. However if I didn’t have to redo the mug handle 100 times I wouldn’t have be inspired to create art on this but I finally made a handle that fits good and looks smooth over all pretty good !

Welp here is what I did. Used news paper to make cut out of clay, went over it with card to make the compress the platelets of clay to build stronger foundation. Very meh.. but I hope my ideas will go well

I couldn’t attend to it do to the time taken from the movie and lecture but it was a well

Designed plate. I wish it didn’t crack but after I made two more!! This also uses the stencil with slip to create a visual element.

I trimmed through the bottom 😱. So I patched it up with clay hope one of them comes out good.o was so sad but came up with a tacky solution.
