I would love to participate in this event as I will be able to meet my neighbours. I am also a Sunny Avenue resident and the day of the party is during the school holidays, the timing of the party is also perfect for me as I have just finished my tuition an hour ago. I remembered a time when I had a party with my friends to celebrate my birthday. Even though it is not a neighbours party-like topic, at least my friends get to learn more about me like what I like to do on special occasions. In summary, I think we should join this as we can learn more about them, for example, their hobbies and when is their birthday so and so forth.

2. The thing that I like about my neighbourhood is that there are a lot of helpful and kind neighbours. Even though some neighbours don't show responsibility to other people. I have this neighbour that has a pet cat. They don't keep it in a cage they just let it walk in front of their corridor but their cat will go up the staircase to level three where I live and it will pee near or sometimes next to me and my brother and father's bicycles. In the end, we complain to the police and they took the matter into their hands. In summary, I think we should take care of our neighbourhood and not make our neighbours upset.

3. A good neighbour means that they care for you, they help you when you need help with something. I used to how this neighbour, they moved out because I and my brother were too noisy. I thought my brother and I were good, but this shows that they don't care for us. In summary, we should always care for others.

Firstly, I can get to know my neighbours better in the event organised as we are all usually busy with our lives, so we don't have a chance to keep in contact. To catch up, this is will help us to know each other better as this is a golden opportunity to know each each other better. Secondly, it is on a Sunday which I have no tuition even though I may have a homework to do but I can do it at a later timing until the event timing is over. However, it is on a holiday which I will be free and especially my examinations are over and I will not have any more tuition as I will take a break. Although the time my sounds to late as I prefer in the afternoon or in the evening but I am down to participate in this event. Lastly, when my neighbours are coming, they will inform their other neighbours about this event and will participate this event and we get to chit chat to know each other. I think the spread of food in the picture at the party interest me a bit. For the food satay, I find it alright because it is honestly difficult for me to bite it away from the stick and the worst part is some of the satay can be stick at the stick which can be difficult to get it out and when you dip the sauce it may drip on me and I have to live with my shirt with the stain. Honestly, I actually don't like chicken rice as the chicken has a weird ruff texture that whenever I eat it, I will spilt it out. I have to say I am fine with the sandwich only without the tomato then it's fine. Finally for the prata, I do like it as I eat with my sister and my family members sometimes whenever my auntie buys or cook for us. In my opinion, I think that this is really good to know each other better in this event as we are usually busy with our daily lives and important because whenever we are in help, they can help us. I think we should have this event as it will be great. In conclusion, I will be interested in participating this event with my neighbours.
(B) One of my favourite thing I like about my neighbourhood is that when they just came to their new house, their neighbour was my family so they baked cupcakes for us. I recall an incident that my family and I was about to leave our house and go to out to our cousin's house. Out of the blue, my house doorbell rang. By the time it rang, my parents, my sister and me was outside the our door wearing our slippers and found a family with children at our gate. When I saw it, I was shocked and stood rooted on the ground. By the time that family entered my house gate and was at my garage, they told us that they are going to be our new neighbour and gave us cupcakes that they baked. After receiving it, I was jumping for joy and decided to share with my cousins. After this incident, I think that they are showing kindness and gratitude for being their neighbours. I think this is a good example for a neighbour can do. In a nutshell I think that is one thing I like abt my neighbour.
(C) A good neighbour means that whenever we did something wrong they will talk to us nicely and not to quarrel with us. I think this proverb call A neighbour in need is a neighbour indeed could be related to all neighbours including us. However, there was a time that my neighbour's children were asleep abt five years old. The mother of theirs came and rang the doorbell and told us that we are too noisy. After hearing that my parents were not home so my grandmother had to say sorry to her. My grandmother than scolded us as we were to noisy. However, I ignored her and roll my eyes at her. Until one day the neighbour complained to the police about us that we were to noisy again. I think my neighbour almost hating us and instead of giving us another one more chance, they complain. After complaining to the police, my parents then also complain to the police as when their children are swimming with their parents, they were making a lot of noises and I could not concertrade in my homework. In the end, My neighbour and my family became enemies. I wish that I could be a good neighbour with them again so we can greet them with a smile. After this incident, my neighbour's father like to talk to my father and their auntie likes to talk to my auntie. I think that it is good to be good neighbours as we can talk to each other but is bad that we complain to the police. I think that we should keep down our voice level. I would love to participate on this event!  Looking at this heart in the event, it says that there are a variety of food. There is satay, sandwiches, Roti Prata and even chicken rice. Wow! I love to eat chicken rice! especially the one with braised egg. It says get your neighbours at Sunny Avenue's Party. Personally, I feel the aim of the food in the picture allows everyone to know more about what different cultures eat. Moreover, It says All Avenue residents are welcome. Fortunately, I am part of the Sunny Avenue's residents! So I am welcomed! It says that date of the event is on Sunday and the time says it is 7pm. Thankfully, I do not have any tuitions on that day! Nothing can stop me from going to the event! It says that I can register at Avenue Community Club. It is very convenient as my house is a stone's throw away from my house! In my opinion, knowing other culture on what they do and eat is important because it helps us to discover attitudes, practices, and rituals surrounding food, it sheds light on our most basic beliefs about ourselves and others. There is a relationship between culture and food. This negotiates our identities, cultures and environments. Food is seen more than just a means of survival. Furthermore, Understanding cultures will help us overcome and prevent racial and ethnic divisions. Racial and ethnic divisions result in misunderstandings, loss of opportunities, and sometimes violence. There was once that our mother tongue teacher taught us on CCE about the race riot in 1969 until 2013. It was caused by people in Singapore hating different cultures from malaysia before racial harmony day existed. In my personal thought, I think people regardless of race, language or religion, to build a democratic society, based on justice and equality, so as to achieve happiness, prosperity and progress for our nation. All in all, I would love to participate in this event and I think that different cultures must respect each other.    


2)I am thankful for most of the things in my neighbourhood. One of the things was Our Tampines Hub. The main mall was opened in 2017 while the Arena@OTH was opened in 2019. I am grateful of it and it has a lot of things to do rather than Tampines mall or parade square. Our Tampines Hub has air conditioned places and non-air conditioned places. In addition, it has a swimming pool and a gym! It got a total of seventh floor. The pool looks amazing! It has 4 pools in total. One is playground pool, a place for kids to play and have fun in the water. Another pool is the main pool. It is for beginners in swimming. It has a depth of 1.2m, almost the height of me when I was primary 3. The third pool is the warm pool where you can warm yourself down. It is very relaxing! The last pool. The one that I should avoid at all cost is the pool for advancers. It has an shelter compared to the other ones. that all for the pros. The cons is that it is very deep. It is 2 metres deep. Most of people do not even beat the height of 2 metres, which is way more than I expected. I remember vividly once that I went to the swimming complex for lessons, but it was not in the Tampines Hub, it was located beside it. That time was in the 2016s. Tampines Hub is still on construction. We went there for only a couple of times before Tampines Hub finished constructing. Once we went inside in the Tampines Hub swimming complex, It was gorgeous! That time I was only primary one, when I stepped into the 1.2m deep swimming pool, I was startled that I am not more than 1.2m I was completed submerged in the water. That time I was extremely afraid of water, hence I was chided by the coach for crying and he even compared me with the other people that do not cry at my age most of the times and I had enough and will complain to my parents about it. However, things started to get better after reprimands by the ferocious coach. My grandfather, the only one who accompanies me to the swimming lesson, will go to the warm pool beside the 1.2m pool with me. It is the most relaxing place in Singapore personally. In a nutshell, I am thankful for Our Tampines Hub.


c) Personally, I think that being a good neighbors needs to be gentle and nice against different people or different cultures most of the times. Doing so can make our world a better place with no wars and complete peace. My neighbors usually are nice and kind towards all of us. But in rare occasions , my neighbors may be very mad in a few reasons. Of coarse, the Neighbors in my flat are mostly the same culture-the Chinese. We are not racist against the neighbor next door, which is Malay. But the next next door of our home is the one who their child and I always argue with. She is a girl, Siena, and she is always mean to me almost everytime that I went to her house and play. In addition, I do not even want to go to her house! She was the one who always come to my door and urged me to go to her house and play! Even if I want to, her games is nit as interesting as mine. Moreover. Whenever I goes to her door, she will always force me to do work for her! In my opinion, I feel that what she is doing is unfair. Yes, I know life is not always fair all the time, But it's too much for her to force me to help her with her homework. Furthermore, I was only primary 3 that time, and those topics were much difficult than I expect. Her grandmother always berated her to do her work by herself but not completely letting me to do the work for her. Hence, we always hated each other and ended our relationship about year 2020. However, In December 2020, Siena invited me to her house and apologised to me for forcing me to do her work for her. I felt pity for Siena and said sorry to her as well for hollering at her so easily that year. We both forgave each other and promise never to force each other to do things that are way too much. But More awful things occurred in 2021 though about Siena. All in all, I think that having a good neighbor is very important.

Holding a party just to get to know our neighbours is a very nice way in my view for telling everyone that they want to bond with everyone and get to know each other. The food at the party interests me as I get to enjoy food for free without needing to pay anything. Moreover, its a variety so it means that I get to try all sorts of delicacies.

b) I like the enviroment of my neighbourhood and the lively atmosphere I feel while taking a stroll or coming back from any places. But I surely like my neighbours whom stay just next door. They were very inviting when we had just moved in and even let me play with their children sowe could become friends. I remember this scene where I had just came home from school. I saw my neighbour sitting outside her home. I guessed that it was because her parents weren't home at the time. I invited her in till her parents came home and we played a while. I really enjoyed that time as it was really fun playing with her. Bringing up that incident still makes us laugh about how we had gone around the block chasing each other.One suggestion I have is to always lend a helping hand even if its not a big deal. We should always be aware of things that happen in case there are things happening that we should be concerned about.

c) Being a good neighbour to me is having hospitality. Just like the olden days, people would leave their doors open to let them in. Children would also go into people's homes to watch television as not a lot are as fortunate as some to have television to watch at home. There were also people who would ask their neighbours to lend some stuff like cooking ingredients or tools if they didn't have it. I would like my neighbours to treat me with respect just like how I treat them. Help them whenever they need help. 2)I like that NTUC is opposite my house and that Our Tampines Hub is also just a walk away. Even though I like my neighbourhood there are some things that could be improved such as they are replacing the lift at my block and it was the bigger one! Also they are storing parts under my block and directly in front of my block so now it takes very long to get into the lift also now it is I have to take a detour when my family and I are getting dropped off from a taxi in my opinion the construction is a bit badly planned as now we do not have a lift big enough to fit a big bicycle into and a two places that are taken for storing parts it is quite unreasonable.
3) Being a good neighbor to me means that you do not make a lot of noise at night, saying hi to your neighbors and generally be kind.

b)what i like about my neighbourhood is the fact that there is a coffee shop,NTUC,clinic ,a minimart and a playground just downstairs . I remember a time when i was  at my friends neighbourhood, i realised that the nearest supermarket was quite far away so i felt grateful to have many shops just downstairs my home.
c)to me being a good neighbour simply just means being caring and responsible like when we see that our neighbours need help we should lend a helping hand to help them and ask if they need help.being a good neighbour needs the sense of responsibility like when it is late at night we do not make any loud noises so as not to disturb our neighbours.i also think that being a good neighbour means respect like when they are celebrating their religious holiday or having a funeral, we should not glare at them or say nasty things about them as we should not offend people. i remember a time when it was during chinese new year, the malay neighbours personally came over to our house just to give us red packets and during hari raya , the malay neighbours invited us to have dinner with them .in my opinion,i think this is what being a good neighbour means.

It is good to befriend your neighbors as you guys need to have each others backs living close to each other . I find that the timing is rather convenient as it is on the weekend where there is no school or work. Getting to know your neighbors could be a rewarding experience and a great opportunity to make new friends. I remember once when there was an activity at my residential club, it was a party to celebrate our condominium 5 years development! i got to know the residents living in the condominiums and some of my neighbors and im still in contact with five of them! in a nutshell, i feel that knowing your neighbors and communicating with then is important.

2) I like that my neighborhood has this one indoor waterpark quite near to my house, it is very fun and my family and i often goes there to enjoy our time and bond . Usually , we go there once or twice a year. I love the fact that theres an attraction near my house so i would not need to travel a long way just to enjoy myself at Universals Studios. I remember once when i was extremely bored at home and would just continuously play valorant on my laptop. Fortunately, my mother came into my room and told me she would bring us to the indoor waterpark and that's what she did! We slid down a lot of slides, but one particular slide was my favorite and that was the biggest, fastest and tallest slide located in the indoor waterpark. We had a whale of a time! It was tremendously memorable. In conclusion, i love my neighborhood but especially the indoor waterpark!

3) A good neighbour is one that is rather helpful and sincere. The neighbour that i imagined i had since i did not communicate with any last time was one that loved sincerely, lived responsibility and was genuine. Since it reminds me of school values and the need to apply it. The importance of having a good neighbour is being able to rely on each other for support whether mentality, emotionally or physically . I remembered once this year when i started communicating with this one neighbour i address as "Mrs Lim" , we had become very close ever since and she would make me cookies to enjoy! In my opinion, i feel like a good neighbour would influence you to do the right things and have integrity behaving like a role model, while a bad neighbour would influence you to do the wrong things. what i like about my neighbourhood is that there is everything nearby like the famous 85 market with famous local foods such as minced meat noodles , the MRT station is within walking distance and there are also various park connectors nearby my house , one suggestion is that there should be neighbourhood parties every 3 to 4 months!  
being a good neighbour means being considerate of noise level such as shifting/moving furniture around the house late at night or early at night.
