Doris Day have the best childhood due to her parents getting divorced and her dad later on moving to Mexico. the longest book up for women when she knew women were afraid of speaking up and didn't have the courage to she did. but while standing up for women she never really paid attention to her kids. by learning about Dolores it has showed me that one person can change the world and Society by speaking up and this is important because a lot of Chicano's needed to speak up in order to be heard.

When I see this picture it gives me many meanings for example when I see the mural I think this hard-working man is selling flowers for his family or just to pay for stuff. Learning about these murals has shown me to always think about the picture. People like to put up altars from their loved ones who have passed away. In the altars, they like to put bread, food, fruits, candles, and salt and water. I learned the reason they put salt and water for when the spirits get thirst from their journey. We also have to put a little pathway leading up to the altar because you are guiding them and showing them that they are welcomed also leaving personally things helps them feel the comfort. Learning more about dia de Los Muertos has shown me it's important to make an altar to let your loved ones know that they aren't forgotten. I now Know in the 1930s originated or was first "associated" with African- America communities in Chicago and Detroit. A-lot of Chicanos loved wearing these zoot suits as a fashion statement. Others peer would judge Chicanos wearing zoot suits and would stereotype them as "bad people" "Criminals " etc. This play has helped me understand the Chicano culture because it has shown me how Chicanos couldn't even wear a zoot suit for a fashion statement because they were quickly getting judged. People who live or lived in Honduras know how it feels like. People saw a chance to come to us to find better for themselves and their family in a caravan. This caravan left Honduras and headed north to the U.S. People who got in the caravan risked their lives from getting caught in the middle of drug trafficking and getting caught by the police. I love that you give us enough time to finish in class. also how your grading policy works on your late work  and you're really flexible  with us. in the next semester I really hope to learn  moron how much immigrant life have changed since the living here and a difference of living there in here and realizing it's not the same and not as easy. I would love to learn more about the dances in our culture, and  the deep meaning behind the murals.
